“ I come from a Mexican upbringing in Chula Vista San Diego on the border, I grew up with it my whole life including in my family. I think we had carne asada bbqs once per week growing up. I also know how to make a lot of authentic Mexican myself. That being said The Burria wasn’t fully authentic made but tasted ok for what it was. they didn’t have steak at all which limited a lot of the menu. There is no Al pastor tacos on the menu normal, it’s only for special days which is strange because it’s a Mexican street taco must. I wasn’t a big fan of the verde sauce and other taco sauces in general they didn’t have the old school authentic tastes I was hoping for. The restaurant is not perfect in every way possible but you have to remember your still in Germany and their doing the best they can getting ingredients. I didn’t See Cotija cheese and other little things like that I guess the food they are doing doesn’t require it so much but once again I understand it won’t be perfect..when you walk in the smell right away had me at least. It’s Actually Mexican owned and overall good taste. Price is higher than usual but once again I understand due to location but at least it tastes great and the portions are not bad. Seems more family Owned and operated so service is a little slower then normal but idc about that I’m there for food and I understand now a days things will Be slower due to Lack of employees in the business. I really really enjoyed the fish tacos and would Highly recommend them the shrimp is great too but be warned super spicyyyy. ”
